Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Singer/Songwriter, Jim Meese began playing piano at the age of 3 and guitar when he was 15. The youngest of five children, he grew up surrounded by all types of music from which he draws upon for his eclectic sound. Intrigued by the music of the 60's and 70's, he began writing songs when he was 11 and formed his first band around the same time.

He performed in bands throughout high school and college (Dana School of Music) which he attended on a full scholarship, majoring in Piano, Theory and Composition. While there, he performed Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Rachmaninoff by day and original rock compositions by night.
