Jim Meese

Bio (2)

Upon leaving music school and completing his band's first album, a five song EP, Jim began working as a producer/staff-writer at a local studio, AUVISDA Productions. Here he produced many local rock and jazz bands as well as corporate projects and commercials. When the studio went out of business, he bought their recording equipment and setup shop in his parents' basement. This was Jim's first studio and it was there that he produced his first nationally released CD, "Newz From Nowhere" by the band, Rubaiyat. Jim also provided the keyboard playing and some of the background vocals for the album. To this day, songs from "Newz From Nowhere" are being used in various films released in South America and Africa.

Jim's next career decision was to further his skills as an engineer/producer at the prestigious Full Sail Center For The Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida. It was there that he learned to record and produce on the high-end equipment that is only found in the finest studios in the world.
